Brigid McDonnell is the Colorado State University (CSU) Interim EFNEP Coordinator and a Research Associate IV with CSU’s Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition (FSHN). Brigid has served as an EFNEP Supervisor, managing adult and youth programming in various counties across Colorado’s Front Range Region since 2011. As Research Associate, she is a Co-PI and Project Manager for EFNEP curriculum and research projects and a preceptor for dietetic and public health students’ community nutrition and Extension internships. Brigid also represents CSU Extension and EFNEP on various county, state and national committees.

Brigid has worked for Colorado State University since 2003. Prior to her appointment to the EFNEP leadership team in 2015, she was an Extension Agent in Jefferson County, Colorado where she spent 8 years teaching low-income families nutrition education via the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed) program.
